Blind Duck Development is looking for a talented and motivated web and database engineer. You will interact with the sales and managment teams to design and implement systems to support ongoing and emerging business needs, as well as interact with clients to meet their specific needs. This is a very visible position as the team delivers high value sites and reports essential for decision-making and new product development across the company. This includes activity in the emerging field of Analytics to help in the design of new products.Required skills and experience:
- Ability to design and build full-featured websites
- Ability to contribute across the range from web design to database and server configuration
- Fluent in current web technologies such as AJAX, JQuery, CSS3 and HTML5
- Experience in designing web sites with clean and easy to use interface
- Experience with organizing complex information into manageable and usable systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven working experience with database server management and database optimization
- Solid experience with MySQL database programming
- Extensive working experiences in web-development languages such as PHP, JavaScript, Java, and more
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 3+ years in web development
